Our Mission
At Community Pet Project, our mission is to alleviate hunger and provide vital resources to the beloved animal companions of low-income or homeless men, women, and veterans. We believe in the healing power of the human-animal bond and are dedicated to providing food, supplies, care, and veterinary treatment for the faithful, non-judgmental friends of our most vulnerable people and families in Hillsborough County. Through outreach and advocacy, we strive to create a supportive environment where pets can thrive alongside their loving people with the dignity and support they deserve.
Support Our Work
Community Pet Project is an all-volunteer organization that receives no government or United Way funding. Our ability to help the disadvantaged pets and people of Hillsborough County depends on the generosity of friends and supporters like you. Thank you for helping us continue our mission!
Shame Our Director CampaignCan we shame our director? We aren’t sure but we are definitely willing to try! For every $100 donated, the Director will have to put on a costume and stand on Nebraska Avenue for 10 minutes waving at passerby’s! If we raise we raise $2500 the Director will have to go to Family Dollar, Mega Supermarket and Hair Of The Dog Park in Costume!

We are excited to share that the Community Pet Project has partnered with Robert Craig Films to use the power of film to inspire action on behalf of the homeless crisis in our communities through the No Address Movement!
Robert Craig Films is releasing its feature film, "No Address," in theaters this fall and will additionally release a documentary, "Americans With No Address," a novelization of the screenplay, an interactive study guide, and a music album that will provide songs for the movie and radio distribution. Robert Craig Films has coined the phrase "The Big 5" to represent The Big 5 productions, and we are so excited to announce that we are a part of the Big 5 GIVEBACK! The film is studded with Hollywood celebrities, such as William Baldwin, Ashanti, Xander Berkeley, Beverly D'Angelo, Lucas Jade Zumann, Patricia Velasquez, Isabella Ferreira, and Ty Pennington. "No Address" will vividly portray that homelessness could happen to anyone. Join us in excitement over the No Address Movement by following @NoAddressMovie on social media and visiting NoAddressMovie.com. |
